About Reading Knights Gridder Club
Red Knight Gridders Club (RKGC) is a 501(c)3 booster organization that provides financial and administrative support to the players, coaches, and administrators of the Reading football teams, at both the High School and Junior High School levels. We meet throughout the year on the 3rd Wednesday of every month and all parents, guardians of current and incoming football players in the district, alumni of the program, and community members are eligible and encouraged to attend.
Our goals are simple:
- Provide financial and organizational support which directly benefits the players, coaches, and administration
- Act as an effective liaison between the coaches, parents, school staff, other school organizations, and the general public to promote our team
- Help to foster excitement and support of the team from the community
RKGC is comprised of an all-volunteer staff with an Executive Board of Directors and Committee Heads. The board is elected each year during the December meeting per the By-Laws adopted by the club. Questions about the By-Laws can be directed to the club president.
